A well-regarded plaintiff-side employment law firm in the Los Angeles area is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its litigation team. This is a strong opportunity for an attorney with 3–5 years of experience handling single-plaintiff FEHA and wrongful termination matters to join a client-focused, employee-side practice.
Responsibilities
- Handle single-plaintiff FEHA claims, including discrimination, harassment, and retaliation matters
- Manage wrongful termination cases from intake through resolution
- Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and dispositive motion oppositions
- Take and defend depositions
- Communicate directly with clients and manage case strategy in coordination with senior attorneys
- Represent clients in mediation, settlement negotiations, and court appearances
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active California Bar membership in good standing
- 3–5 years of experience in California employment litigation, specifically single-plaintiff FEHA and wrongful termination matters
- Plaintiff-side experience strongly preferred
- Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage a caseload independently while collaborating within a close-knit team

Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $130,000 and $180,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
