Why does the job exist?
Business Operations Analyst will:
Process in-state/out-state travel reimbursements for the division;
Issue a P-Card for making hotel reservations for DHI staff and is responsible for reconciling P-Card statement monthly;
Track travel reimbursements on an excel spreadsheet to report performance measures monthly.
How does it get done?
The Business Operations Analyst is responsible for:
Providing support to the Division of Health Improvement;
Processing payment Vouchers;
Preparing requisitions for all training and travel requests;
Auditing for discrepancies;
Auditing journal entries for accuracy;
Maintaining and tracking fiscal records.
Who are the customers?
Division of Health Improvement Staff
Ideal Candidate
Division of Health Improvement Staff
Minimum Qualification
High School diploma or Equivalency and two (2) years of experience in office administration, budgeting, purchasing, finance, accounting, auditing, cash management, contract management, and/or the procedures of business and management principles involved in strategic planning. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling two (2) years may substitute for the required experience.
Employment Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Driver's License. Must Possess and maintain a current Defensive driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or must pass and receive Defensive Driving Course Certification as a condition of continued employment.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage. Some sitting, standing, bending and reaching may be required.
