Housekeeping Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Worker to maintain cleanliness and order in various facilities. This role involves performing cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for clients, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, reliability, and experience in cleaning or custodial work. Duties

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in assigned areas
• Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and other floor care techniques
• Handle janitorial tasks such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and restroom sanitation
• Conduct custodial responsibilities for various facilities including offices, industrial sites, or residential properties
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting as needed
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently to ensure high standards of cleanliness
• Follow safety protocols and use appropriate cleaning products and tools effectively
• Support special projects like industrial cleaning or commercial cleaning assignments when required

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Experience with floor care, buffing, or commercial cleaning is advantageous
• Background in residential painting, industrial cleaning, or facilities maintenance can be beneficial
• Porter experience or related maintenance roles are considered a plus
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
