Our client is Looking a motivated and detail-oriented Admissions Coordinator to join their Long-Term Care facility. This role plays a key part in ensuring a smooth, efficient, and compassionate admissions process for both short-term and long-term residents.
Role Overview
The Admissions Coordinator will support the intake process by coordinating with clinical, marketing, and administrative teams. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a patient-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support the admissions process for new residents, including both short-term and long-term care
- Collaborate closely with Admissions, Marketing, Clinical Liaison, and Concierge teams to prepare for patient intake
- Assist in assessing and processing applications to ensure a seamless transition for incoming residents
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and internal teams throughout the admissions process
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA and confidentiality standards
Required Qualifications
- Experience in administrative or office-based roles, including use of computers and office systems
- Prior experience in a nursing home or long-term care setting, preferably within admissions
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality requirements
