Here’s What We’re Looking For
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working within a school setting, particularly with elementary-aged students, is strongly preferred
- Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse caseload across multiple campuses
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Collaborative mindset for partnering with teachers, staff, and parents
- Adaptable, resourceful, and ready to address evolving student needs
- Provide direct and consultative OT services to students in accordance with IEPs and district guidelines
- Assess, plan, and implement interventions to promote student participation and academic success
- Travel between five elementary school sites, supporting students in a variety of environments
- Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to integrate OT strategies into classroom routines
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in meetings as required
- Contribute to the development of a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere
