Make a meaningful impact on students’ lives by providing expert occupational therapy services across five elementary campuses in an engaging and supportive school environment. This contract position, running from August 2026 through May 2027, is an excellent opportunity to blend your clinical skills with your passion for helping children succeed academically and socially.
Your background in occupational therapy and prior experience within school settings will allow you to design and implement effective interventions, helping students overcome barriers to learning and participate fully in their educational experience. Current caseload details are being finalized, but expect a collaborative, dynamic atmosphere where your expertise will be valued.
Desired Qualifications and Background:
- Current Occupational Therapist license, or eligibility for licensure
- Experience in pediatric or school-based OT preferred
- Solid grasp of IEPs, progress monitoring, and related documentation
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing caseloads across multiple campuses
- Effective communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Commitment for the full academic year (August 2026–May 2027)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy evaluation and intervention for elementary-aged students
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to create student-centered treatment plans
- Deliver therapy both one-on-one and in small group settings according to students' IEP goals
- Maintain accurate, timely records and progress reports
- Travel between assigned elementary campuses as needed
