We are partnering with a leading health system in Tulsa, Oklahoma to hire an ER Pharmacist Specialist for a direct-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a clinically strong hospital pharmacist who thrives in a fast-paced emergency department and values patient-centered, collaborative care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, and timely medication therapy in the Emergency Department
• Deliver patient-centered pharmaceutical care in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and hospital staff
• Participate in all aspects of the medication-use system for assigned clinical areas
• Support both centralized and decentralized pharmacy operations
• Serve as a clinical resource for medication management, safety, and optimization in emergent care settings
  
  

Required Qualifications

• BS Pharmacy or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy
• One of the following experience pathways:
• PGY-1 residency plus PGY-2 specialty residency or fellowship (relevant specialty), or
• PGY-1 residency plus 3 years of clinical hospital pharmacy experience, or
• 5 years of clinical hospital pharmacy experience with no residency
• Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) certification required (or must be obtained within 1 year of hire)
• BLS certification required within 14 days of hire and prior to providing direct patient care
• ALS/ACLS certification required
• Ability to meet all applicable state and hospital requirements, including sterile compounding standards if applicable
