- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day

- Provide safe, effective, and timely medication therapy in the Emergency Department
- Deliver patient-centered pharmaceutical care in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and hospital staff
- Participate in all aspects of the medication-use system for assigned clinical areas
- Support both centralized and decentralized pharmacy operations
- Serve as a clinical resource for medication management, safety, and optimization in emergent care settings
- BS Pharmacy or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
- Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy
- One of the following experience pathways:
- PGY-1 residency plus PGY-2 specialty residency or fellowship (relevant specialty), or
- PGY-1 residency plus 3 years of clinical hospital pharmacy experience, or
- 5 years of clinical hospital pharmacy experience with no residency
- Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) certification required (or must be obtained within 1 year of hire)
- BLS certification required within 14 days of hire and prior to providing direct patient care
- ALS/ACLS certification required
- Ability to meet all applicable state and hospital requirements, including sterile compounding standards if applicable
