- Variable days throughout the week, including weekends
- Holiday shifts as needed, typically 4–5 hours
Responsibilities include:
- Accurately verifying and processing hospital pharmacy orders
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication use
- Managing inventory and maintaining compliance with hospital regulations
- Providing consultation to staff and patients as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a hospital pharmacist, with hands-on experience in medication order processing and verification
- Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records is preferred
- Active Alaska pharmacist license or the ability to obtain a temporary Alaska pharmacist license within 24 hours of acceptance
