Shipping Clerk
SmartTalent is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to support shipping, receiving, and inventory functions within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate shipment processing, maintaining organized inventory and shipping documentation, and supporting daily warehouse operations while adhering to quality and safety standards. Pay: $18.77 - $19.77
SCHEDULE:
Monday–Friday 6am - 230pm

Key Responsibilities
· Pick, pack, label, and stage finished products for shipment
· Verify part numbers, quantities, and shipment documentation before release
· Prepare packing slips, bills of lading (BOLs), and carrier paperwork
· Process small parcel and freight shipments including UPS, FedEx, and LTL carriers
· Enter and confirm shipment transactions within ERP and inventory systems
· Maintain clean and organized shipping areas in accordance with 5S standards
· Communicate shipment discrepancies or delays in a timely manner
· Safely operate pallet jacks and forklifts
Qualifications & Skills
· High school diploma or equivalent required
· Previous shipping or manufacturing experience preferred, ideally within an ISO-certified environment
· Knowledge of quality systems, controlled documentation, and traceability standards preferred
· Experience using ERP systems and shipping software is a plus
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
· Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
· Forklift certification preferred
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
· Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the shift
· Manufacturing and warehouse environment
· PPE required in designated work areas
· Must consistently follow safety procedures and material handling guidelines
· High level of organization, accuracy, and execution required for success in this role
· Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 75 pounds during an 8-hour shift
