Shipping Clerk

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the timely and accurate shipment of finished goods in an ISO-certified manufacturing environment. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all shipments meet customer requirements, internal quality standards, and ISO procedures, while maintaining accurate documentation and a strong focus on continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare, verify, and process outgoing shipments in accordance with ISO quality procedures and work instructions

· Accurately pick, pack, label, and stage finished goods for shipment

· Verify shipment accuracy against work orders and packing lists

· Generate, review, and maintain required shipping documentation to ensure traceability and compliance

· Collaborate with production, quality, and warehouse team members to meet daily shipping and customer requirements

· Communicate shipment status, issues, or discrepancies to the team and supervisor promptly

· Operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) in accordance with safety and training requirements as necessary

· Participate in team meetings, audits, and continuous improvement activities

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area consistent with ISO and 5S standards

Qualifications & Skills

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· Previous shipping or manufacturing experience preferred, especially in an ISO-certified facility

· Familiarity with quality systems, controlled documents, and traceability requirements

· Basic computer skills; experience with ERP, inventory, or shipping systems a plus

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

· Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment

· Good communication, problem-solving, and time management skills

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

· Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs on a regular basis

· Manufacturing and warehouse environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and material handling equipment

· Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary

Schedule

· Full-time position; overtime may be required to support production and customer shipping needs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.77 - $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
