SHR Talent is partnering with a private equity-backed multi-site healthcare organization in Nashville, Tennessee in its search for a Senior Accountant. This Senior Accountant will play a key role in supporting a rapidly growing healthcare platform executing an active acquisition and integration strategy across multiple states. While the role operates remotely, candidates must be located in the Nashville area for periodic collaboration with executive leadership and the accounting team.

Responsibilities:
- Lead month-end close processes across newly acquired and legacy healthcare entities
- Support acquisition accounting, including purchase accounting entries and opening balance sheet integrations
- Drive post-acquisition financial integration, including chart of accounts alignment and process standardization
- Prepare consolidated and entity-level financial statements and variance analyses
- Partner with operations, revenue cycle, and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) teams to ensure accurate financial reporting across multiple sites
- Assist with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) transitions, system implementations, and internal control enhancements
- Support external audit and lender reporting requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or CPA-track, preferred
- 4 years of accounting experience
- Healthcare, PE-backed, or multi-entity experience, highly preferred
- Direct experience with Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) integration, acquisition accounting, or system conversions, strongly preferred
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and healthcare-related accounting platforms, preferred
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and purchase accounting principles
- Strong communication skills with executive-level exposure
