SHR Talent is partnering with a leading healthcare organization to hire a Manager, IT Field Operations in Jacksonville, FL. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT leader who enjoys combining hands-on technical expertise with team leadership and exceptional customer service. In this role, you'll oversee local IT operations, lead technical initiatives, and serve as the primary technology partner for a busy healthcare practice while collaborating with a centralized enterprise IT team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day IT operations for a healthcare practice, ensuring exceptional end-user support and service delivery.
- Manage, mentor, and develop the local IT support team.
- Serve as the primary liaison between practice leadership and enterprise IT teams.
- Lead IT projects, including infrastructure upgrades, clinic expansions, technology implementations, and process improvements.
- Resolve escalated technical issues while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction through "white glove" support.
- Monitor service levels, performance metrics, and adherence to established IT processes and SLAs.
- Partner with enterprise IT teams to improve operational efficiency and standardize best practices.
- Communicate project updates, technology initiatives, and issue resolution with key stakeholders.
- Support clinical technology initiatives and new location openings.
- Identify opportunities to improve IT processes, automation, and overall service delivery.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare IT, or related field preferred.
- 5 years of progressive IT support experience.
- 3 years of IT leadership or management experience.
- Healthcare IT experience strongly preferred.
- Experience leading technical teams in a customer-facing environment.
- Strong understanding of incident management, service delivery, and IT operations.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare technology environments is a plus.

- VMware and virtual environments
- Windows Server administration
- Network infrastructure and SAN technologies
- Remote Desktop Services
- VOIP systems (Zoom Phone experience is a plus)
- PowerShell or other scripting/automation tools preferred
- Strong understanding of hardware, networking, security, and systems administration
