Position: Night Auditor - Full Time
Reports to: Security Manager
Job Purpose: Close current operating day and open the new operating day, to ensure proper accounting & Resort management.
Job Summary: Welcomes and registers guest, establishes credit, directs guest to room, relays messages, answers questions about services, flips system to the new operating day, maintains and updates records, obtains payments.

As a Night Auditor at Blue Harbor Resort, you’ll be a vital part of our front-desk team during the overnight shift. You’ll ensure accurate daily financial reporting, assist guests with late-night needs, and uphold a smooth, professional atmosphere during quieter hours. Your attention to detail and friendly demeanor will help maintain the high standards our guests expect — from finalizing daily accounts to providing exceptional customer service.

Duties
- Welcomes guest by greeting, answering questions, responding to requests.
- Registers guest by obtaining or confirming room requirements, verifying pre-registration, assigning room, obtaining information and signatures, issuing guest room keys.
- Establishes credit by verifying credit cards or obtaining cash.
- Directs guest to room by showing location on Resort map.
- Conveys information to guest by receiving and transmitting messages, mail, facsimiles, packages, etc.
- Provides concierge duties to guest by answering inquires regarding resort and other services guest may require, such as entertainment, shopping, business, and travel.
- Works the Night Audit Processes to close the current operating day and to begin the new operating day.
- Closes current day credit card batches to ensure proper processing of payments.
- Runs necessary system reports, and records information on a spreadsheet for Accounting.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing projects/tasks as needed.
- Completes nightly task list to prepare team for upcoming day.
- Willingness to support others where needed.
- Assist with limited Maintenance calls and requests.
Qualifications
- Effective communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Customer focused.
- Experience is highly preferred but willing to train.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience. (18 ).
- Ability to work 3rd shift and have a flexible schedule.
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 10 lbs.
- Sit and/or stand long periods.
