Job Position: Spa Cosmetologist - Part Time
Reports to: Spa Manager
Job Purpose: To meet the need of facials, group nails, and haircuts.
Job Summary: Provides personalized beauty and skin-care services with a focus on skincare treatments, precision haircuts and blowouts, and professional nail services. The role supports guest confidence and well-being by delivering consistent, high-quality experiences tailored to individual needs. By enhancing the overall service offering, this position contributes to guest satisfaction, repeat business, and the organization's reputation for excellence in beauty and wellness.
Salary 25%-28% commission
Duties
- Prioritize service excellence & guest relationships:
- Service all guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain knowledge of and be able to perform all cosmetology services we offer.
- Perform all technical services to the absolute best of your ability, maintaining guest comfort and safety at all times.
- Treat all guests with respect and integrity.
- Update guest information, aid in product recommendation, maintain confidentiality of all spa/salon records and systems.
- Assist fellow team members as time allows including but not limited to, providing value added services for their guests, and ensuring guest comfort (serving beverages, etc.)
- Follow up with and report any guest challenges
- Prioritize Safety & Sanitation:
- Maintain sanitation of workstation and equipment as required by state board guidelines.
- Maintain security of all spa systems and operations.
- Prioritize Time & Revenue Management:
- Leave spa spotless at the end of the day. Remember, someone else may be using that space when you are not there.
- Maintain security of all spa systems and operations.
- All products should be filled at the end of your shift.
- Work area should be spotless when guest arrives and is seated.
- Prioritize professional growth:
- Set an outstanding example as a team member of Reflections Spa (image, attitude, attendance, punctuality, guest service, communication, and technical skill).
- Maintain two-way communication between team leaders, Manager and all team members. Participate in all salon meetings and educational events, as well as special projects, community involvement and other duties as assigned by team leaders.
- Address all fellow team members with respect and integrity.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED
- Cosmetology License
- Availability: Thursday-Saturday 10am-6pm and Sunday10am-2pm
- Ideally dual classified as a Massage Therapist.
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift up to 20 pounds, bending, stretching, and able to stand for long periods of time.
