Position: Banquet Server- Full Time

Reports To: Manager of Banquet Operations 

Job Summary: Responsible for serving food & beverages in a professional manner at assigned banquet functions.

Salary: $12 an hour tips

Duties

• Willingness to accept the most effective role. 
• Review the Banquet Event Order’s for menu details, special instructions, floor plan etc.  
• Prepare for the function(s): plate setting, condiments, beverages, etc.
• Assist the set-up staff in table set-up, buffet set-up, bar set-up, etc.
• Prepare and serve beverages for the function.
• Check the quality of food before serving.
• Maintain an open communication with the kitchen staff, letting them know immediately of any changes or needs.
• Serve the guests in a professional and efficient manner. Follow-up on any reasonable requests.
• Remove dirty dishes from the tables as guests finish their meal or course.
• Load all dirty dishes from the banquet function on a cart and breakdown the dish line.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness.
• Clean up after the function; sweep, mop, clear dishes from table, put everything away.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
