Position: Seasonal Laundry Attendant – 1st Shift
Reports To: Laundry Supervisor & Rooms Division Manager
About the Role
As a Laundry Attendant, you play a vital role in ensuring our guests experience clean, fresh, and high-quality linens throughout their stay. You’ll be responsible for processing hotel laundry efficiently and safely, helping maintain the standards that define a great guest experience.
This role supports overall hotel operations by washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens while maintaining an organized and safe work environment. Laundry attendants are essential in hospitality settings, ensuring linens are properly cleaned, sorted, and ready for use across departments.
Compensation: $15.00/hour

What You’ll Do
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, blankets, and other hotel textiles
- Inspect items for stains or damage and treat or rewash as needed
- Load and unload commercial washers and dryers following proper procedures
- Monitor machine performance and report malfunctions or maintenance needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked laundry area
- Clean dryer lint traps and ensure equipment is operating safely
- Track discarded or damaged linens and notify management of shortages
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of chemicals and use of PPE
- Transport laundry carts (up to 100 lbs.) to and from machines and storage areas
- Rotate between workstations as needed to support team efficiency
- Assist housekeeping team when needed (delivering linens, stripping beds, or cleaning rooms)
- Inspect clean/vacant rooms for cleanliness, supplies, and maintenance concerns when assigned
- Communicate supply needs or issues promptly to supervisors
- Follow all company policies, including attendance, uniform standards, and scheduled breaks
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Housekeeping leadership

Physical Requirements

- Frequent bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
- Ability to work with cleaning chemicals safely
