Security Guard – Seasonal (Summer Only)
Reports To: Security Manager
Position Overview
We’re seeking a reliable and attentive Security Guard to help maintain a safe and secure environment for our guests and team members throughout the resort. This role is responsible for monitoring resort activity, responding to safety concerns, and ensuring compliance with all resort policies and procedures.

Schedule & Details
- Position: Seasonal Summer Position
- Shift: Overnight (3rd Shift) - 10PM-6AM
- Availability: Weekends and holidays required.
- Compensation: $17.00/hour
Job Summary
Monitor and patrol the resort to ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, and property. Address concerns proactively, respond to incidents calmly and effectively, and help enforce resort policies and procedures.

Guest Experience
- Maintain a visible and approachable presence for guests and staff
- Assist guests with questions, concerns, and requests in a professional manner
- Handle disturbances or policy violations with discretion and professionalism
- Support a safe, secure, and welcoming resort environment
Security Operations
- Conduct foot patrols of interior and exterior resort areas to identify safety and security risks
- Monitor radio communications and security camera systems
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and guest concerns in a calm and efficient manner
- Assist with guest room access issues (e.g., lockouts)
- Enforce resort policies and applicable laws as needed
- Support emergency response procedures and coordinate with team members
- Assist team members and guests with safety issues or injuries
- Maintain awareness of all resort policies and procedures
- Complete reports and document incidents as required
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned
Education & Experience
- Previous security experience in a high-traffic or hospitality environment preferred
- Knowledge of fire safety, emergency procedures, and basic first aid
- Ability to work overnight (3rd shift)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, and move for extended periods
