Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-focused Bookkeeper with strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day financial tasks including AP/AR, reconciliations, invoicing, and maintaining accurate financial records. This person will play a key role in supporting month-end processes and ensuring smooth, efficient accounting operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily AP and AR activities including invoice processing, payments, billing, collections, and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity in QuickBooks.
- Handle invoicing, expense tracking, and credit card/bank reconciliations.
- Prepare reports in Excel utilizing formulas, pivot tables, and other tools as needed.
- Assist with month-end close activities and general ledger updates.
- Support budgeting, audits, and ad-hoc accounting projects as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and standard accounting practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent work experience.
- 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience with strong AP/AR exposure.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and solid Excel skills required.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
