HealthCare Staffing is in urgent need for an Oncology Radiation Therapist for a 13-week travel/contract position in Keene, NH.

Pay Rate: $3300 Weekly Gross pay based on a 40-hour work week (Includes non-taxable
travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Shifts available: Days
Schedule: 40 hours per week guaranteed, 4 X 10-hr shifts, M-F, Some weekend/on-call may be needed
- Current Radiation Therapist experience: 2 years - Required
- Oncology experience - Required
- VARIAN TRUEBEAM experience - Required
- ARIA (Treatment Record and Management) experience - Required
- Previous travel experience - Highly Preferred
- Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need
Education, License
and Certification Requirements:
- ARRT - Required
- BLS Certification from AHA - Required
- NH MIRT License - Required (Can be obtained upon offer, must be willing and eligible to apply)
- Administers prescribed radiation treatment, setting the necessary
factors, and monitors both patient and control panel during the treatment. Prepares patients in exam rooms and assists
the Radiation Oncologist with medical examinations.
- Prepares patients, rooms, and equipment for treatment and simulations
and assists the Radiation Oncologist with simulations.
- May inject dye into skin of patient as a marker, providing there has
been demonstration of appropriate training and skills to the satisfaction of
the Oncologist.
- May administer contrast media retrograde into the urinary bladder in
patient during simulation.
- Performs all necessary calibration on equipment as prescribed by the
Radiation Safety Officer in accordance with the conditions of therapy license,
or any other regulatory body.
- Observes radiation safety measures for patients and personnel.
- Records all patient doses and gathers all confidential history on
patients, documents all reactions that the patient may have, and reports these
findings to the radiologist.
- Updates patient examination history file,
records unusual conditions/limitations, accurately documents appropriate
information in daily log book, completes procedure, performs scheduling,
consultation and billing procedures as required, performs other paperwork as
applicable
