The Opportunity
We are working with a prominent law firm for an HRIS Administrator join their Boston-based HR Technology and Operations team. This is a high-impact, strategic role responsible for the advanced administration, optimization, and governance of the firm’s global HRIS platform. Serving as a subject matter expert, you will drive process automation, lead complex configuration projects, and deliver advanced analytics to influence HR leadership and firmwide strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the point of escalation for complex HRIS issues. Lead the configuration and rollout of system enhancements across Benefits, Payroll, Onboarding, and WFM modules.
- Own the firm’s HR data framework. Build and maintain sophisticated dashboards and KPIs using Dayforce and BI tools (Power BI preferred) to provide insights on DEI, compensation, and turnover.
- Evaluate existing workflows to identify opportunities for streamlining, particularly in benefits administration and payroll integrations.
- Lead the delivery of critical firmwide reporting, including federal/state filings and advanced audit routines to ensure 100% data integrity.
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, and Benefits teams on cross-system dependencies while providing high-level training and documentation to end-users.
What You Need to Succeed
- 3 years of progressive HRIS experience. Prior experience within a law firm or professional services setting is strongly preferred.
- Expert-level proficiency with enterprise HRIS systems and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables; SQL is a plus).
- A strong background in benefits-related HRIS workflows and data management.
- Demonstrated ability to build complex reports and translate technical data into actionable business insights.
- Exceptional judgment, diplomacy, and the ability to operate with high autonomy in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
Work Structure
- This role requires a 60% in-office presence at their Boston location, with 40% remote flexibility.
Salary : $75,000 - $95,000
