We are working with a mission-driven estate planning firm in the Greater Boston area, in search of an aspiring Paralegal to join their collaborative team. Unlike typical firms, this practice focuses exclusively on protecting the futures of young families, individuals with special needs, and empty nesters. This is a unique opportunity for a compassionate professional who values "white-glove" service and wants to play a direct role in helping clients ensure their loved ones are cared for and protected.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients via phone, email, and in-person interactions, serving as a trusted point of contact throughout the planning process.
- Prepare comprehensive estate planning and trust administration documents while ensuring all materials are accurately gathered for drafting.
- Ensure attorneys are fully prepared for the week ahead and act as a witness during all signing meetings.
- Navigate client matters through internal workflows, ensuring that deadlines are met for signing and final meetings.
- Coordinate with financial advisors regarding trust funding and act as an advocate for the client’s needs.
What You Need to Succeed
- 2 years of experience in legal services within a law firm setting; prior experience in Estate Planning is a plus.
- Experience with technology, including Microsoft Office, Dropbox, Visio, and Adobe Acrobat.
- A strong customer-service mindset with a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure client satisfaction.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid time management and organizational skills, with high attention to detail.
- Candidates who have completed a Paralegal professional certification will receive preference.
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
