Robert Half's client is seeking a
Director of Digital Marketing Data & Analytics
to lead our data-driven marketing practice. This high-impact role offers the opportunity to shape the roadmap for data integration, activation, and insights—driving transformation into a best-in-class, data-powered organization.
As a key leader in our digital marketing strategy, you will leverage data to optimize campaigns, accelerate revenue growth, and enhance customer engagement across B2B, B2C, and B2B2C channels. Reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing for North America, you'll join an agile team focused on building and maintaining a cutting-edge, insight-driven marketing ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Collaboration
- Act as the primary contact for data analysis and reporting across North America marketing and communications.
- Collaborate with marketing, IT, engineering, product, business units, and external partners to define a strategic marketing data roadmap.
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate data sources and ensure governance and seamless data flow.
- Present monthly, quarterly, and annual KPI reports to stakeholders.
Data Strategy & Execution
- Define success metrics and campaign KPIs; manage paid media spend and reporting.
- Develop data-driven strategies to support prospecting, analytics, and sales growth.
- Guide Data and Engineering teams to centralize and structure data for best-in-class reporting and dashboards.
- Build real-time performance dashboards using tools like Qlik, Power BI, and Google Looker Studio.
Advanced Analytics & Insights
- Conduct predictive modeling and segmentation analysis to identify high-value leads.
- Use behavioral analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics) to derive insights and inform strategy.
- Deliver recommendations to optimize digital marketing spend with a focus on ROI and engagement.
Project Management
- Lead data projects including agency onboarding, webpage redesigns, and automation initiatives.
- Establish automated workflows and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability.
- Ensure reporting tools support segmentation by agency distribution.
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in digital marketing analytics or data-driven marketing in B2B/B2C environments
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, and data integration.
- Skilled in SQL, QlikSense, Tableau, Power BI, Excel, and Looker Studio.
- Familiarity with Python or R for advanced analysis.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data governance.
- Experience with CDP, DMP, CRM, SFMC, and large datasets.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Bachelor's degree required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in data architecture and modeling.
- Familiarity with machine learning for predictive analysis and segmentation.
- Experience with A/B/MVT testing and funnel optimization.
- Understanding of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Agile team experience and proficiency with Jira.
Additional Skills
- Results-oriented with a bias for action and alignment with leadership goals.
- Ability to craft compelling data stories and present insights to senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with marketing tech such as Medallia, Adobe Experience Manager, and Demandbase.
- Strong executive presence and presentation skills.
