Bookkeeper

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Stow, Ohio. This role involves managing financial records for multiple clients and ensuring all accounts are accurate and up-to-date. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and be experienced in using QuickBooks to streamline financial processes. This is a permanent position with regular business hours. After training, there is an opportunity for a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts to ensure financial accuracy.

• Maintain and manage financial records for multiple clients simultaneously.

• Process and input financial data into QuickBooks software efficiently.

• Review balance sheets to confirm consistency with supporting documentation.

• Collaborate with senior accountants by passing along necessary financial information.

• Handle payroll-related tasks, including entering hours into payroll software and recording journal entries.

• Ensure timely and accurate recording of accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Manage financial operations for up to 10-15 clients at a time, ensuring personalized attention to each.

• Generate reports to support client-specific financial needs.

• Proven experience in bookkeeping, with the ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks for financial data entry and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
• Demonstrated expertise in bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Ability to accurately record journal entries and maintain organized financial records.
• Familiarity with payroll processes, including data entry and journal entry recording.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with clients and team members.
