We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to lead all aspects of the Human Resources function. Position Overview
The CHRO will oversee HR operations, employee engagement, compliance, recruiting, training, and culture development across the organization. Key Responsibilities
HR Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute HR strategies that support organizational growth and operational goals.
- Advise the executive team on organizational planning, workforce needs, and talent initiatives.
- Lead long-term HR planning, including staffing forecasts and succession planning.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Oversee recruitment processes, ensuring quality hiring and a positive candidate experience.
- Implement onboarding programs that set new hires up for success.
- Build relationships with community organizations, schools, and recruiting partners.
Employee Relations & Culture
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and inclusive workplace culture.
- Serve as a key resource for employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace issues.
- Lead engagement initiatives that support morale, recognition, and retention.
Training & Development
- Create and oversee training programs for managers and employees.
- Support leadership development, performance coaching, and skills enhancement.
- Ensure consistent performance review processes across all departments.
Compensation, Benefits & HR Operations
- Manage compensation structures, benefits administration, and payroll coordination.
- Oversee HR compliance, employment law adherence, and policy development.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR systems, and reporting.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor regulations.
- Implement and update workplace policies, employee handbooks, and safety protocols.
- Lead investigations, disciplinary actions, and documentation as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 5 years of progressive HR leadership experience (Director-level or higher).
- Strong understanding of HR laws, compliance, and best practices.
- Experience overseeing recruiting, employee relations, and performance management.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on HR operations.
