We operate at the intersection of neuroscience, motorsport, and education, with peer-reviewed publications on bioRxiv and PsychArchives, an academic book series in global distribution, and cognitive performance programs deployed in schools and national competition environments.
We are seeking a Director of Grant Development to build and manage the organization's institutional funding pipeline. This role encompasses the full grant lifecycle: prospecting aligned funding sources, developing proposals, managing submissions, and maintaining funder relationships through reporting cycles.
This is a volunteer leadership position offering direct engagement with nonprofit funding strategy across cognitive science, education, and youth development.
Responsibilities:
Research and identify grant opportunities from foundations, government agencies, and corporate giving programs aligned with the organization's mission.
Develop and submit complete grant proposals including narratives, budgets, logic models, and supporting documentation.
Maintain a grant calendar tracking application deadlines, submission status, and reporting obligations.
Align proposal language with funder priorities while preserving organizational positioning.
Coordinate with organizational leadership to ensure grant strategy reflects programmatic direction and institutional milestones.
Manage post-award reporting and funder correspondence for active grants.
Qualifications (must-have):
Demonstrated grant writing experience with successful funding outcomes.
Ability to produce clear, rigorous proposals under deadline.
Familiarity with foundation and government grant application processes.
Qualifications (preferred):
Experience with education, STEM, cognitive science, or youth development funders.
