Receptionist

Red Oak Technologies is a leading provider of comprehensive resourcing solutions across a variety of industries and sectors including IT, Marketing, Finance, Business Operations, Manufacturing and Engineering.

Our client is an electronics manufacturer. They are looking for a Receptionist to join their team. This role is a TEMPORARY position. Position will be ONSITE. Candidate must be able to commute onsite to San Francisco, CA.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Receptionist, on a short term basis, to serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, manage front desk operations, answer phone calls, and support administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls
• Manage front desk operations and maintain a clean reception area
• Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
• Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries
• Assist with data entry, filing, and other administrative duties
• Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when needed
• Provide information to clients and guests regarding company services or procedures
• Coordinate meeting room scheduling and preparation
• Support other departments with administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
