An AI infrastructure organization building large-scale compute systems for next-generation workloads is hiring a Manufacturing Linux & Network Infrastructure Engineer. This role supports the stability, scalability, and performance of IT and networking systems across manufacturing and production environments.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for maintaining and evolving core Linux and network infrastructure that supports manufacturing operations, warehouses, and corporate systems. This includes ensuring reliable connectivity, system performance, and secure operations across distributed environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, maintain, and optimize LAN/WAN connectivity across manufacturing plants, warehouse sites, cloud environments, and corporate offices
• Support enterprise networking including high-throughput environments (10G/100G), routing, switching, VLAN configuration, VPN connectivity, and firewall management (Palo Alto)
• Administer Linux servers (Rocky Linux / RHEL) and support system deployment using automation tools such as Ansible and scripting solutions
• Monitor infrastructure health including latency, uptime, bandwidth usage, and overall system performance across multiple sites
• Support network resilience strategies including redundancy planning, failover systems, wireless infrastructure, and production floor connectivity
• Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, OT, and security teams on infrastructure deployments and ongoing support initiatives
• Provide escalation-level (Tier 2/3) technical support and participate in an on-call rotation for critical system incidents

Required Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in Linux systems and network infrastructure engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with RHEL or Rocky Linux environments, including DNS, DHCP, and NFS administration
• Proven experience managing enterprise firewalls, particularly Palo Alto
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, OSPF, and BGP
• Experience working with enterprise networking hardware (Cisco, Arista, Juniper, or similar platforms)
• Exposure to infrastructure automation using Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools
• Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or production environments preferred
• Strong troubleshooting ability and clear communication skills in cross-functional environments

Nice to Have

• Scripting experience in Python for automation or operational tooling
• Exposure to cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with SD-WAN, Grafana, Zabbix, or MES platforms
