Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our boutique law firm. We are a friendly group of attorneys and paralegals who work in our community, representing tenants against landlords.

In this vital role, you will manage front-desk operations, handle incoming mail, operate multi-line phone systems, and provide exceptional customer service to visitors, clients, and team members. Your positive attitude and efficient administrative skills will ensure smooth daily operations and create a professional and friendly environment for all who walk through our doors. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your office management expertise while supporting a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors warmly and direct them appropriately, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism, answering inquiries promptly and routing calls efficiently.
  • Handle data entry, filing, and document proofreading to support administrative workflows.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace tools for scheduling, correspondence, and record keeping.
  • Provide excellent customer support by addressing questions, providing information, and managing customer inquiries with courteous phone etiquette.
  • Support office management tasks such as organizing supplies, managing incoming mail, and maintaining filing systems.
  • Perform clerical duties including typing reports, updating databases, and ensuring accurate data entry.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline office procedures and improve overall efficiency.

Experience

  • Prior experience working in an office environment or as a receptionist is preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with computer literacy, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, and data entry tools.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on phone etiquette; bilingualism is a plus.
  • Previous experience in customer service or administrative support roles is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of office management procedures such as filing systems, calendar management, and clerical tasks.

Pay: $26.00 - $33.00 per hour
