Process Engineer - Warehouse

Position Summary:

Assist Operations with troubleshooting day-to-day issues related to system setup or warehousing operations. Drive and support process improvement initiatives to increase capacity and reduce TAT. Define and implement processes and drive setup activities such as time studies, layouts and WI’s.

Essential Functions:

·        Create, update and maintain product and process documents such as process flows, assembly SOPs and other reference documents for CCBU.

·        Perform system setup for production or NPI models.

·        Assist with the implementation of ECN’s and reworks needed for production.

·        Provide Training to Operations regarding new products and processes.

·        Take action and ownership in solving problems while exhibiting judgment and a realistic understanding of issues;

·        Partner with cross functional teams to develop and implement process improvement projects.

·        Collect, maintain and analyze data and metrics to improve TAT and FPY.

Education And Experience

·        Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or related Engineering field; minimum 2 years of Manufacturing, Process, or Industrial Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of Education and Experience.

·        Extensive knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles.

·        Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing Principles.

·        Experience using AutoCAD or similar design software.

·        Experience with layout design, including storage areas and work cell/assembly areas.

·        Experience working with WMS System.

·        Other responsibilities as assigned by management.

·        This is a FULLY ONSITE position; must be able to report onsite daily.

·        Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment with multiple languages spoken.

·        Excellent organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

·        Extremely detail oriented.

·        Strong written and spoken English skills

·        Ability to operate independently in multiple locations.

·        Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

·        Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

·        Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, CAD software and/or related software.

·        Ability to deal with unresolved situations, frequent change, delays or unexpected events.

Physical Requirements:

·        Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.

·        Ability to distinguish between colors.

·        Ability to bend, stoop, stand/sit for prolonged periods, move about production and warehouse facilities.

·        Ability to work in non-temperature-controlled environments.
