Territory Sales Manager – Automotive Aftermarket (Batteries)

Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of the Michigan territory and drive growth in aftermarket battery sales
  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with distributors, resellers, and automotive clients
  • Generate new business opportunities and strengthen relationships with existing customers
  • Sell a range of battery products including lead-acid, AGM, and lithium
  • Work closely with channel partners such as NAPA, FMP, and similar distribution networks
  • Maintain and update sales pipeline, forecasts, and activities in CRM tools
  • Travel within the region for client interactions, site visits, and industry events
  • Analyze market trends to uncover new opportunities and support business growth
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience in automotive aftermarket or related fields
  • Experience working with distributor or reseller-based sales models
  • Background in battery products or similar technical offerings is a plus
  • Ability to clearly explain previous sales experience, channels, and customer types
  • Strong track record of managing a territory and successfully closing deals
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid setup with regular local travel requirements
