We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Associate Attorney with a passion for estate planning to help our clients with transitioning from their family law cases. The ideal candidate is confident in the courtroom, comfortable managing client relationships, and able to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and empathy.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of estate planning matters
- Draft pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and discovery
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials
- Negotiate settlements and advocate effectively for clients
- Maintain consistent and professional communication with clients
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Oklahoma
- 1-5 years of experience (estate planning experience strongly preferred)
- Strong litigation, negotiation, and drafting skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases independently
- Compassionate, client-focused approach
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Prior courtroom experience
- Experience with high-conflict custody cases
- Familiarity with mediation and collaborative law processes
