Coffey, Senger, Hancock and Harmon is primarily an insurance defense firm with a concentration on trucking law and construction law. We are a mid sized firm in South Tulsa. We practice in District Court statewide and in Arkansas, Missouri, and Kansas. We also practice in all relevant Federal Courts.
Coffey Senger is seeking an experienced and strategic Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney to join our growing practice in Tulsa. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to handle complex litigation matters, work directly with clients, and play a key role in case strategy and outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in insurance defense and civil litigation, with the ability to independently manage a caseload from inception through resolution. This role involves high-level motion practice, client interaction, and courtroom advocacy.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a diverse caseload including:
- Insurance defense
- Premises liability
- Construction defect
- Employment law and business disputes
- Draft and argue dispositive motions and significant pleadings
- Take and defend depositions, manage discovery, and coordinate experts
- Represent clients in mediations, hearings, and court proceedings
- Provide strategic legal advice and risk assessment to clients
- Collaborate with partners and co-counsel on complex litigation matters
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing with the Oklahoma Bar
- 5 years (senior associate) to 10 years (partner-level) litigation experience
- Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
- Experience in insurance defense and coverage issues preferred
- Proven ability to manage cases independently
- Appellate experience is a plus
