Speech Pathology Assistant - Minneapolis, MN

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1 years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a dynamic K-12 educational setting in Minneapolis, MN. This contract position spans the current school year (CSY) and offers the opportunity to support students communication development under the guidance of a Speech-Language Pathologist.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in delivering speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
• Implement therapy plans and activities designed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student needs.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid SLPA certification or licensure meeting state requirements for Minnesota.
• Experience working within K-12 educational environments preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow therapy plans accurately and provide feedback to supervising clinicians.
• Demonstrated patience and dedication to helping children improve their communication skills.
