A full-time contract opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist supporting K-12 students in Huntsville, AL. This role spans the 2025-2026 school year, from August 4, 2025, through May 20, 2026, with a caseload encompassing grades K-12. The position offers the chance to engage in a variety of impactful activities, including conducting evaluations, performing assessments, writing detailed reports, participating in IEP meetings, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for a diverse student population
- Write comprehensive reports that inform individualized education programs
- Collaborate in IEP meetings to advocate for appropriate student support services
- Work closely with educators, administrators, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and comply with relevant regulations and policies
Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist license in the state of Alabama
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred but not mandatory
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaborative relationships
- Ability to effectively work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Work Schedule & Location:
- Full-time position, approximately 35-40 hours per week
- Weekends and holidays off
