Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1 years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school district in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to support elementary-level students. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute directly to the educational and emotional development of young learners during the upcoming school year.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for elementary students
• Develop and implement intervention plans to support student success
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to address student needs
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention as appropriate
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to student planning

Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist certification or license
• Experience working in elementary educational settings preferred

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
