Senior Accountant/Accountant IV
We are seeking Senior Accountant/Accountant IV for a large healthcare system based out of Coos Bay, OR.
This is a full time permanent role with full time benefits.
Shift: Day Shift (8-hour shifts)
Job Summary:
This role is responsible for general ledger management, reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit support, while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies.
The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in healthcare accounting, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
📌 Key Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Support month-end close and financial reporting
- Perform variance analysis and account analysis
- Coordinate internal and external audit requests
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with finance teams and leadership
✅ Requirements
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong expertise in GL, month-end close, and reconciliations
- Experience with financial reporting and variance analysis
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros)
- Experience with ERP systems
- Healthcare or hospital experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (CPA preferred)

Salary : $75,000 - $110,000
