Accountant IV
Maintains accurate financial records and ensures all transactions are properly recorded in the general ledger. Prepares and reconciles subsidiary ledgers to the general ledger and upholds the integrity of financial data entered into hospital accounting systems.
Skills & Abilities
- Strong communication skills, fast learner, and comfortable working in accounting and financial systems
- Coordinates with internal and external auditors and responds to audit requests
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Experience supporting month‑end close, reporting, and audit-related activities
- Demonstrated skill in journal entries, account analysis, and variance analysis
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Reliable, punctual attendance at the assigned work location
- Keeps current with industry trends by reading relevant publications and attending conferences or seminars

Submission Requirements
Education / Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; or an Associate’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant accounting experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree [REQUIRED]
- Advanced degree or CPA designation preferred [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
Experience
- 10 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment [REQUIRED]
