We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant (Accountant IV) to join a dynamic healthcare finance team. This role is responsible for maintaining financial records, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and supporting audit processes while upholding the integrity of financial systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile financial records, including general ledger and subsidiary accounts
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions and reporting
- Perform monthly close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Conduct variance analysis and provide financial insights
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors and manage audit requests
- Utilize advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- (Associate’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience may be considered)
- 10 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong experience with financial reporting, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively under pressure
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA certification or advanced degree
- Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
