Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing, supplier management, and procurement operations for large-scale energy and industrial infrastructure projects. This role will be responsible for developing procurement strategies, negotiating key contracts, managing supplier relationships, supporting active projects, and building a scalable procurement function as the organization grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all procurement and sourcing activities.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers for major equipment packages, including turbines, compressors, heat exchangers, tanks, and other industrial components.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, delivery schedules, quality requirements, and commercial terms.
- Develop procurement policies, processes, and sourcing strategies to support project execution and business objectives.
- Manage supplier performance, contract administration, risk mitigation, change management, and dispute resolution.
- Partner with engineering, project management, and operations teams to forecast demand and align procurement activities with project schedules.
- Develop sourcing strategies that support domestic content requirements and other applicable incentive programs.
- Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and pricing within the energy and industrial sectors.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement procurement tools and systems.
- Build and lead a procurement team as the company expands.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10 years of procurement, supply chain, or strategic sourcing experience supporting industrial, energy, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects.
- Experience procuring large industrial equipment, rotating equipment, or energy infrastructure components.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and supplier relationships.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and commercial skills.
- Excellent analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and project teams.
- CPM, CPSM, CSCP, or similar certifications are a plus.
- Proficiency with procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
