We are seeking for a Procurement Manager to ensure efficient, reliable, and standardized procurement execution across all sites, securing material availability to support production and customer commitments.
The role drives supplier delivery performance, operational excellence, while ensuring strict application of sourcing strategies, contracts, and procurement processes, working closely with global sourcing team. Acting as an interface between suppliers and internal operations, the position ensures end-to-end execution from purchase order to delivery, with a strong focus on MRP execution, inventory control, on-time delivery, and shortage mitigation.
The role actively contributes to S&OP, ensuring procurement execution is fully synchronized with demand, supply plans, and inventory targets.
RESPONSABILITIES
Procurement operations
- Manage and standardize procurement execution (PO management, confirmations, expediting) across all sites
- Ensure alignment of procurement activities with MRP signals and planning priorities
- Act as central coordination point for procurement activities between sites
MRP execution & inventory level control
- Ensure effective execution of MRP-generated signals (purchase requisitions, rescheduling, cancellations)
- Control inventory levels in line with company targets (safety stock, excess & obsolete, turns)
- Collaborate with Planning to balance service level, inventory, and supply constraints
- Contribute to parameter setting (lead times, MOQ, safety stock) to improve MRP output quality
Supplier order management & delivery performance
- Drive supplier on-time delivery (OTD) performance across all sites
- Manage order confirmations, backlog, and past-due lines
- Lead escalations with critical suppliers with sourcing team
Material availability & cross-site prioritization
- Ensure material availability to support operations
- Balance shortages
- Work closely with Planning and S&OP forums to anticipate risks and align priorities
ERP governance & data consistency
- Ensure harmonized procurement master data (lead times, MOQ, supplier parameters)
- Drive ERP discipline and accurate execution of procurement transactions (POs, confirmations, receipts)
Supplier performance management (operational)
- Monitor supplier KPIs at global level (OTD, backlog, responsiveness)
- Participate to operational reviews for key multi-site suppliers
- Escalate structural issues to Sourcing
Team management across sites
- Lead and develop procurement teams
- Ensure clear prioritization aligned with MRP and business criticity
Process standardization & continuous improvement
- Deploy best practices in MRP execution, inventory control, and procurement processes
- Drive improvements in lead times, inventory turns, and shortage reduction
- Define and track procurement KPIs at network level
S&OP contribution
- Represent Procurement in S&OP governance
- Provide visibility on supplier constraints, risks, and recovery plans
- Ensure procurement execution is fully aligned with approved supply and inventory plans
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field)
10 years of experience in Operational Procurement / Purchasing (not sourcing)
Experience in electrical assembly or industrial manufacturing environment
Experience with ERP systems (BAAN, Made2Manage, SAP, Dynamics, etc.)
