We are looking for a Spare Parts & Demand Planning Manager to play a key role in ensuring material availability and supporting operational excellence across a global industrial environment.
Your mission
You will be responsible for ensuring material availability for current customer orders and future demand, acting as a critical interface between multiple functions (Sales, Procurement, Engineering, Production, Service & Supply Chain).
You will support operations across multiple production sites, global warehouses, and international customers, with a direct impact on customer satisfaction and equipment uptime.
Key responsibilities
- Backlog & Operations Management
Analyze order backlog and associated BOM requirements
Secure material availability for customer orders
Anticipate shortages, risks, and delivery constraints
Prioritize orders based on business impact and customer commitments
Drive cross-functional issue resolution
Monitor KPIs (on-time delivery, backlog health, shortages, aging orders)
- Demand Planning & Inventory
Support demand forecasting based on data and installed base
Optimize inventory levels and service performance
Monitor forecast accuracy and inventory turns
- Spare Parts & Lifecycle Management
Define and manage inventory & safety stock strategies across warehouses
Reduce obsolescence and complexity
Support standardization and part rationalization initiatives
Manage part lifecycle (changes, substitutions, EOL, last-time buy)
Coordinate closely with Engineering, Sales, and Service teams
Your profile
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field
Strong analytical mindset & data-driven decision making
Ability to influence cross-functional teams in a global environment
Solid experience in supply chain, planning, or operations
Customer-oriented with understanding of equipment uptime challenges
- Technical skills
Advanced Excel
ERP system knowledge
Power BI / data analysis tools
Experience in forecasting & inventory optimization
Knowledge of SQL is a plus
