Responsibilities of the IT Systems Specialist Lead include:
- Direct technical standards and architectural alignment for operational technology and supporting IT systems.
- Lead integrations between automation platforms and business systems, including SCADA/PLC connections and data flows into enterprise applications.
- Establish configuration guidelines, system baselines, and integration patterns for internal teams and external vendors.
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex outages, cross‑platform troubleshooting, and production‑critical incidents.
- Guide system enhancements, root cause remediation, and modernization efforts spanning legacy and cloud‑based platforms.
- 10 years of experience in IT environments with strong exposure to manufacturing, automation, or OT‑centric systems.
- Demonstrated background providing technical leadership for integrated application, server, and automation ecosystems.
- Hands‑on experience with SCADA/PLC communication, SQL Server, Windows Server, and legacy/modern application frameworks.
- Familiarity with enterprise and plant systems such as MES/MOM, SAP production or maintenance modules, or warehouse execution technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, and ability to work fully onsite.
