Responsibilities for the Senior Software Engineer include:
- Designing and building scalable full-stack applications to replace manual, spreadsheet-based workflows.
- Developing intuitive frontend experiences using React and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Architecting and implementing backend services and APIs using Node.js.
- Creating systems that track the full lifecycle of “care members,” identifying needs and prioritizing interventions.
- Integrating AI-native capabilities (e.g., Claude AI) to enhance decision-making and workflow automation.
- Building data pipelines and analytics tools to provide actionable insights and predictive capabilities.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate community and operational needs into technical solutions.
- Deploying and managing applications in AWS cloud environments.
- Ensuring application performance, scalability, and security best practices are met.
- 5 years of experience in full stack software development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React, and Node.js.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and deployment pipelines.
- Familiarity with AI-native development tools (e.g., Claude AI) or strong interest in applying AI to product development.
- Experience building internal tools, workflow systems, or data-driven applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience working within healthcare, Medicaid, or social services environments.
- Salary Range: $170,000-$180,000
