Associate Product Development Engineer

Piper Companies is currently looking for an Associate Product Development Engineer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (PA) to work for an innovative and growing medical device manufacturer. The Product Development Engineer will play a significant role in the design of medical devices.

Responsibilities for the Associate Product Development Engineer include:

• Assist in the development and design of medical device and diagnostic products
• Participate in prototyping, fabrication, and 3D printing of product design
• Ensuring designs coincide with FDA medical device guidelines
• Conducting in depth analysis of the performance, safety, and design of future products
  
  

Qualifications for the Associate Product Development Engineer include:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience with the development of medical devices or similar products
• Strong experience working with SolidWorks or similar CAD software
• Experience working with SolidWorks preferred with FDA medical device guidelines
• B.S. in Engineering or related field required
  
  

Compensation for the Associate Product Development Engineer include:

• Salary Range is $85,000-$90,000 dependent upon experience
