Instructional Designer
Initial duration: 1 year
Max pay rate: $65/hr w2 benefits. Alpharetta GA- onsite 3-5 days per week depending on workload.
Job Description:
- CDRR FTC Requisition – Instructional Designer
- The CDRR Training team covers regulatory required training for the Cybersecurity and Information Security Policy as well as the Global Technology Policy.
- The Instructional Designer will build and/or rebuild engaging online learning solutions, based on content in client’s current training library.
- The new courses would be created via in-house tools and Firm assets for design.
- As needed, they will edit and advise on course scripts.
- This role partners closely with the CDRR training team and other subject matter experts to modernize learning and driver learner engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable digital learning solutions on regulatory required topics such as cybersecurity and technology procedures.
- Utilize internal tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, and Articulate AI Assistant.
- Partner with subject matter experts, team members, and stakeholders to ensure that the custom courses align with business and training goals.
- Develop course templates for future learning projects.
- Maintain and update learning assets and documentation within SharePoint and other internal knowledge platforms.
Skills Required:
- Instructional design experience for online training.
- Advanced proficiency in Articulate Storyline 360, Rise, and Adobe Creative Suite as well as AI authoring tools.
- Understanding of Accessibility Standards (WCAG).
- Experience using collaboration and content management platforms such as SharePoint, Jive, and MS 365 tools.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to simplify technical material into learner-friendly content.
- Ability to collaborate with senior SMEs to develop and refine learning solutions.
Optional/Preferred Skills:
- Administrative and/or reporting experience with Cornerstone on Demand.
- Background in Cybersecurity, Technology, or Compliance training.
