About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to support the development and modernization of regulatory training programs focused on Cybersecurity, Information Security, and Global Technology policies. This role will partner closely with training teams and subject matter experts to create engaging, learner-centric digital learning experiences using modern instructional design methodologies and authoring tools.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing online learning content, transforming technical material into engaging training solutions, and leveraging tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, and AI-assisted content development platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain engaging digital learning solutions focused on regulatory, cybersecurity, and technology-related topics.
- Build, enhance, and modernize online training courses using existing content libraries and internal design assets.
- Utilize tools such as Articulate Storyline 360, Rise, and Articulate AI Assistant to create scalable learning experiences.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and training teams to ensure learning content aligns with business objectives and training goals.
- Edit and provide guidance on course scripts and instructional content as needed.
- Develop reusable course templates and design standards for future learning initiatives.
- Maintain learning assets, documentation, and content repositories within SharePoint and other internal platforms.
- Promote learner engagement through innovative instructional design approaches and modern learning techniques.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience designing and developing online learning and training solutions.
- Advanced proficiency with Articulate Storyline 360, Rise, Adobe Creative Suite, and AI-assisted authoring tools.
- Strong understanding of Accessibility Standards (WCAG).
- Experience working with SharePoint, Jive, Microsoft 365, and other collaboration/content management platforms.
- Ability to translate technical and regulatory content into clear, learner-friendly training materials.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience partnering with subject matter experts to develop and refine learning solutions.
Preferred Skills
- Experience administering or reporting within Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD).
- Background supporting Cybersecurity, Technology, Information Security, Compliance, or Regulatory training programs.
- Experience creating enterprise-scale digital learning programs and reusable learning assets.
- Familiarity with modern learning technologies and AI-assisted instructional design practices.
