The Vice President will lead enterprise-wide initiatives focused on modernizing the Finance organization by aligning business strategy, technology, and operational excellence. This executive will partner with senior leaders across Finance, Technology, and Operations to develop and execute long-term transformation initiatives that improve organizational effectiveness, strengthen governance, and position Finance for future growth.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Finance Strategy
- Develop and execute long-range strategies that advance Finance capabilities and align with broader corporate objectives.
- Lead large-scale transformation programs from planning through implementation, ensuring measurable business outcomes and sustainable adoption.
- Collaborate with executive stakeholders to establish future operating models, optimize organizational design, and enhance Finance performance.
- Provide strategic guidance to accounting, controllership, planning, and shared services teams while fostering alignment across business functions.
- Oversee complex program portfolios by establishing governance, monitoring progress, mitigating risks, and resolving execution challenges.
- Champion organizational change initiatives that build adaptability, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Business Process & Transformation Leadership
- Design scalable operating frameworks that improve efficiency, standardization, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Translate business priorities into practical process improvements and technology-enabled solutions.
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to evaluate current-state operations, define future capabilities, and drive executive decision-making.
- Simplify and optimize core financial processes by reducing manual activities and improving integration across financial systems.
- Ensure transformation initiatives balance operational needs, regulatory requirements, and long-term business objectives.
- Partner with technology leadership to evaluate solution alternatives, establish implementation roadmaps, and guide strategic investment decisions.
Digital Innovation & Intelligent Automation
- Advance Finance modernization through the adoption of emerging technologies, automation, and data-driven decision support.
- Identify opportunities to leverage artificial intelligence and advanced analytics to improve forecasting, financial insights, exception management, and operational efficiency.
- Promote enterprise data strategies that enhance reporting accuracy, decision intelligence, and business visibility.
- Lead efforts to redesign workflows using automation-first principles to improve productivity, scalability, and service delivery.
- Foster digital capabilities across Finance by encouraging technology adoption, analytical thinking, and continuous learning.

This is a hybrid role, 2 or 3 days per week in office in midtown Manhattan
Salary 150-185k DOE
