The Senior Vice President (SVP) will play a key role in executing investments and structuring project financings for the firm's clean energy infrastructure investment strategy. This strategy focuses on acquiring, financing, constructing, and operating distributed solar, energy storage, and other clean energy infrastructure projects throughout the United States.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This senior-level position is responsible for investment execution and structured finance activities within the clean energy infrastructure strategy.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading the negotiation and execution of term sheets, project acquisitions, debt placements, and other transactions under the direction of senior management.
- Coordinating and overseeing due diligence and investment activities performed by junior team members and external advisors.
- Building and maintaining detailed financial models to evaluate investment opportunities and support investment recommendations.
- Preparing and presenting investment memoranda to the Investment Committee.
- Supporting business development and origination efforts.
- Assisting with portfolio management activities.
- Engaging professionally with external stakeholders.
- Monitoring and reporting on relevant market, industry, and regulatory developments.
- Representing the firm at conferences, industry panels, and other external events.
- Supporting fundraising, investor relations, and asset management activities as directed by management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Law, Public Policy, Sustainability, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in renewable energy M&A, private equity, finance, investment banking, project finance, or a related clean energy field.
- Strong financial modeling skills and experience with tax equity and project financing structures.
- Demonstrated experience structuring transactions across a portfolio of renewable energy or infrastructure investments.
- Experience with distributed energy project acquisitions and structured finance, including construction and permanent debt placement.
- Knowledge of distributed energy regulatory frameworks and offtake structures, including community solar, energy storage programs, utility billing mechanisms, and relevant policy incentives.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to supporting the energy transition and sustainability initiatives.

Salary : $220,000 - $240,000
