Phillips & Cohen Associates, Ltd., the global leader in estate account management with operations in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand, seeks a qualified VP, Business Development. Reporting to the SVP, Growth & Partnerships, the incumbent will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities and marketing the Company’s probate estate account resolution services to credit issuers, utility providers, telecom groups, and related businesses throughout Canada and the United States.
Responsibilities
- Develop, plan, and execute sales campaigns and strategies through tele-sales, web demonstrations, and social media.
- Manage the timely exchange of queries, tenders, and document requests between PCA and clients, and escalate any delays or blockages within the business and client hierarchy as appropriate.
- Read, research, and route sales-related correspondence; draft letters and documents; collect and analyze prospect information; initiate telecommunications.
- Analyze and distribute internal and external key performance indicators and client-provided data.
- Review service level agreements, contracts, and other onboarding documents.
- Resolve internally and externally identified issues quickly, resulting in the least amount of disruption to performance.
- Liaise directly with the client support personnel to ensure timely receipt of new placement files.
- Produce sales and marketing-related materials.
- Monitor and report on sales activities and provide Senior Executives and Board management with relevant updates and projections.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, or related field.
- Five (5) years of experience in a sales or marketing role for a third-party collection agency or related sectors.
- Successful B2B sales and negotiation experience.
- Self-starter, challenger, self-disciplined, and target-focused, with the ability to achieve results under pressure.
- Willingness and eligibility to travel at times frequently, including internationally and/or across multiple time zones.
- Attention to detail and accuracy are paramount.
- Project management or proven ability to deliver exceptional results in a quantitative and quality measured position.
- Experience using Salesforce preferred, but not required; advanced Microsoft Office skills required.
- Multi-lingual fluency (English Spanish, French) a plus.
