Optomi, in partnership with a leading sports media organization, is seeking a Master Control Operator to support a high-visibility, next-generation live sports streaming initiative focused on delivering optimized vertical video experiences for mobile audiences. This role will support real-time production workflows for upcoming sporting events, helping shape and deliver a cutting-edge viewing experience using advanced streaming and format-conversion technologies.

Requirements and Skills of the right candidate:
- Experience in live sports production, master control, or broadcast operations
- Familiarity with live production workflows strongly preferred
- Understanding of digital streaming environments and multi-platform content delivery
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, real-time production settings
- Producer-minded: able to think about viewer experience, pacing, and content flow in the moment
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor live video streams within a real-time production environment
- Support the creation and management of vertical video outputs optimized for mobile viewing
- Work closely with operations managers, technical staff, and production teams to ensure smooth execution
- Conduct pre-event checks, live event monitoring, and post-event shutdown procedures
- Assist in managing multiple simultaneous streams during live match coverage
- Escalate technical or operational issues quickly and effectively to leadership teams
- Contribute to the overall viewing experience with a producer-style mindset focused on audience engagement
